Grossman & Wernicke, Inc. was recommended to us in March 2008, when our eighty-nine year-old mother was gravely ill. We were extremely frustrated with doctors and hospitals, unable to get a diagnosis that would determine if there were available treatments to save our mother.

When Suzanne Wernicke came to mother’s hospital room, she gave us hope immediately. She plotted a fact-finding course of action, insisted upon certain tests, recommended rehabilitation facilities and procedures. Suzanne accomplished what we could not have done ourselves. She continues to monitor our mother’s care and is always accessible to help with whatever health issues arise.

My family would recommend Grossman Wernicke, Inc. without reservation!

Grossman & Wernicke was a rare find. Everyone associated with the firm is caring and empathic, yet so professional and respectful at the same time. Our care manager, Jennifer, is incredibly accessible and responsive. She is so on top of everything and everyone, it’s as if my mom is her only client! My mother would never receive the care and attention she gets if it weren’t for Grossman & Wernicke, and I wouldn’t have the peace of mind.

....Finding myself in a position where we needed to rescue a family member who is mentally ill, we were very fortunate to develop a talented team to help us as co-guardians. First, by necessity, came our lawyer who is extraordinarily competent and caring. She suggested that we hire a case manager to help with the burden of daily supervision.

We found Grossman and Wernicke, Inc. as a result of their excellent reputation. We have had the support of Suzanne Wernicke and her team for over a year, and I can say emphatically that we could not have succeeded without their support. Suzanne and her co-workers schedule and supervise home care; arrange for doctors' appointments, review reports, and follow up as needed; insure compliance with prescription medication; attend team meetings with a psychiatrist and the guardians; and communicate with our loved one in a patient, gentle and caring way, knowing when to be firm, as may be necessary, yet always allowing her to maintain her dignity. They are on call and readily available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. And they don't know what overtime is! Grossman and Wernicke is an essential component of our effort to provide the best possible outcome for our family member.
